Tangiers International serves as the Plan Administrator for battleface. That means we are responsible for assuring that all eligible claims are settled promptly and in accordance with the terms and conditions of the battleface Policy.
Filing a claim can be an annoying task, especially when you are recovering from an injury or illness. Our Customer Care Department is available 24/7/365 to assist you with the paperwork so that your claims are paid promptly and fairly. We will guide you through the Notice of Claim, Proof of Claim, and Claimant Statement process. In fact, much of this will be accomplished in the background while we are providing you with Medical Services and Assistance.
Help us help you by:
• Providing legible, original bills and paid receipts for any covered expenses you may have paid.
• Completing the Claimant’s Statement and providing it to us as quickly as possible.
• Including your banking information so that we can wire transfer funds for covered claims to you.
• Providing a copy of the doctor’s prescription for all Prescription drug claims.
Once we have a completed claim submission, payment will be made either to you or directly to the service providers. We use state of the art claims processing technology to ensure that covered claims are turned around quickly.
Please note that in accordance with Policy terms and conditions, the claimants statement, authorisation form, and all original bills and receipts must be received by Underwriters within 60 days of the last day of the Policy (or, if applicable, the last day of the Benefit period).
If all or any part of your claim is denied, we will provide a written explanation.
