battleface is now pleased to offer travel insurance which includes cover for medical expenses caused by or resulting from COVID-19. Claims will be paid for medical expenses up to the amount shown in your schedule of benefits and subject to the terms and conditions of your policy. The new COVID-19 cover is available on all policies purchased from July 17th, 2020 for travellers up to and including age 59 or under. All other benefits remain available as standard for travellers aged one month or over on the date of travel and 79 years or under when the trip, for which this insurance is purchased, finishes.
This benefit does not include cover in relation to COVID-19 expenses for trip cancellations, curtailment of a holiday or lockdowns.
For battleface policies purchased before July 17th, 2020, the COVID-19 exclusions will remain in force and we will not be able to consider claims for travel costs or medical expenses in any way caused or resulting from COVID-19.
We continue to provide full benefits, up to the policy limits, for destinations including those under FCO and government “do not travel to” advisories. Please refer to the customer library section of the website here for an updated copy of the battleface policy and all accompanying documents.
If you have any questions or queries about an existing policy or purchasing a new policy for upcoming travel, please contact us by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or telephone: +44 20 80895338 and we would be happy to help you.
