OK, I’m in a crisis. What now?
Call us. Have a system already in place to let someone know you’re OK—a code the bad guys can’t break. For example, a very specific SMS, changed frequently, or daily. If your folks get a ‘What’s Up?’ instead of ‘The restaurant was out of my favorite dish,’ they’ll know something’s wrong. That way, if you can’t communicate with us, your people back home can.
We strongly recommend that you provide contact information, ours and yours, to your travel companies, friends, and family members. If you can’t reach us, others can contact us 24/7 via:

Crisis Response is a service contract for which an access fee is charged. Crisis Response services will be provided by the Consultant Service Provider or by specialists appointed by them or by their insurers. The Consultant Service Provider has purchased an insurance policy with Griffin Underwriting Limited, covering consultants’ costs and extra expenses incurred in managing a potential, actual, or threatened crisis. The policy purchased by the Consultant Service Provider is for the benefit of the Consultant Service Provider only, and whilst the Protected Person has no rights under this policy, the benefits will be used to provide the Protected Person with the Crisis Response services.
Griffin Underwriting Ltd is registered in Guernsey and approved and regulated by the Guernsey Financial Services Commission (GFSC), who supervise all insurance and financial business in Guernsey.
Due to sanction restrictions imposed by the United Kingdom, the European Union, the United Nations and the United States, it may not be possible for us to provide the full range of cover in one or more of the countries you plan to travel to.
