On May 1, 2023 American Airlines pilots voted to authorize a strike. This is now a known event.

In order for travel insurance coverage to be available, a policy must have been purchased on or before May 1, 2023. Since this event is no longer unforeseen, policies issued on or after May 2, 2023 will not cover this event.
