FAQ

Plan Trip Length

Provide coverage for trips up to 90 days.

Secondary Coverage

We will coordinate with your primary insurance first. For example, our medical expense coverage is secondary. During a medical assistance case, we will ask you for your primary insurance carrier information so we can notify them of your claim.

Domestic Travel

A period of round-trip travel to a destination that is at least one hundred (100) miles from your primary residence. You can travel with our plans while in the United States.

Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D)

Benefits for loss of eyesight or hearing, loss of limbs or fingers, and death resulting from an accident while traveling. Limits may be increased through purchase path.

Baggage Loss or Delay

Benefits for baggage loss or delay, including coverage for personal effects. Also includes benefits for fees incurred to ship baggage and personal effects to your location if the lost items are recovered. Benefits are payable only after satisfaction of the deductible shown in the schedule of benefits.

Emergency Medical Evacuation

The policy includes a benefit for Emergency Medical Evacuation to the nearest facility capable of treating your life-threatening condition, or all the way back home.

Travel Medical Expenses

If you need emergency medical or dental care, your battleface plan includes medical expense benefits. Contact us for a referral to one of our network providers worldwide. Please note our medical expense benefits are secondary; we will coordinate with your primary insurance carriers for primary coverage first.

Repatriation of Mortal Remains

The policy provides a benefit for the cost of burial or cremation locally, or the cost of preparing and transporting your remains home, should the worst occur

Trip Cancellation & Interruption

For illness in the family, a hurricane headed to your getaway destination, and more.

Single Occupancy

Reimbursement for the additional cost incurred during the trip as a result of a change in the per person occupancy rate for prepaid travel arrangements. This is useful when someone booked shared accommodations with you and their trip is delayed, canceled, or interrupted for a covered reason.

Extend a policy with optional coverage to include accidental loss, theft or damage to business equipment.

Deductible

The amount you pay before we do.
